I am a theoretical physicist working at the Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT), a joint venture of the Autónoma University of Madrid (UAM) and the Council for Scientific Resarch (CSIC).

My scientific work deals with quantum field theory and gravity in general. I am especially interested in quantum aspects of black holes, the holographic principle, fundamentals of cosmology and quantum information theory.
