How to get there
- To the airport: There are daily flights to Madrid from
every mayor European town.
- From the airport to city center: From Barajas Airport
one can take a bus to Madrid, that stops right in front of the
International Arrivals Lounge. This bus is frequent (every 12 minutes)
between 5h00 and 1h30 and costs 380 PTAS (2,28 €). The bus
stops at the
Plaza de Colón. You can also take directly a taxi from
the airport to town, for approximately 2000 ptas (12 €).
- From the city center to Miraflores : We will organize a bus
that takes you from the city center directly to the Residencia La
Cristalera. The bus will leave from the C.S.I.C.
(Calle Serrano 113 bis - 123), near the Plaza de Colón on
Wednesday 17th of March at 19h00.
For people who can not make it to the bus, you can also get to the village of
Miraflores by public transport:
- From the city center to the Plaza de Castilla: The bus that
comes from the airport will leave you in the Plaza de Colón,
from where you will have to take the metro or a taxi to the
Plaza de Castilla .
- From the Plaza de Castilla to Miraflores: At the Plaza de
Castilla, bus number 725 (gate 6) leaves for Miraflores frequentely
(about once an hour) between 7h00 and 22h30. For more precise

- From Miraflores to La Cristalera: The bus from Plaza de
Castilla leaves you in the center of the village, about two kms from
the Residencia. There is one (1!) taxi in the village of Miraflores,
which can take you to the Residencia. You can also call to the
Residencia upon your arrival in the village, and we will get you.
