What is Gravitational Radiation?

I shall briefly review the gravitational wave concept in the full (non linear) General Relativity theory. Focusing effects (on photons and even gravitons) by a plane GW will be discussed and examples given. Applications to Cosmology will also be sug- gested. The seminar is intended to have an "open to discussion" character.


The almuerzo-seminario is intended to be an informal seminar and an open forum for discussion.
