Generalization of the Fluctuation-Dissipation Theorem in the Off-Equilibrium Regime

Juan J. Ruiz-Lorenzo

U. Complutense de Madrid

It is well known that assuming time traslational invariance (equilibrium regime) the fluctuation-dissipation theorem (FDT)(that relates correlation and response functions) holds. I will present field-theoretical and numerical arguments that support a multiplicative generalization of FDT in the off equilibrium regime. Surprisingly it has been found that the function that determines multiplicatively the violation of FDT can be computed at equilibrium. Therefore I will show how to use off equilibrium dynamics to compute equilibrium properties. As examples I will study Ising spin glass, real glasses, diluted models and the random field ising model.

The almuerzo-seminario is intended to be an informal seminar and an open forum for discussion.

You are wellcome to bring your own bocata (sandwich), or coffee or tea.

Where: Modulo C-XVI, 3rd floor, Facultad de Ciencias U.A.M., C.U. Cantoblanco, 28049-Madrid
