Stabilising the Dilaton in Superstring-Inspired Scenarios

We intend to review the issue of dilaton stabilization in the context of superstring inspired models with supersymmetry broken by gaugino condensation. In particular we will focus on the role of string-motivated non-perturbative corrections to the Kähler potential on the phenomenology of dilaton-dominated scenarios. Finally we will also address the different cosmological problems associated to these type of scenarios, pointing out possible solutions and distinctive features which are applicable to a large class of models.

The almuerzo-seminario is intended to be an informal seminar and an open forum for discussion.
