I review applications to particle physics, cosmology, string theory, and general relativity. I briefly introduce some more recent work on those subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:35% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/members.ift.uam-csic.es\/ed\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/randall.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8601 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Professor&#8217;s Randall research addresses fundamental questions about the properties and interactions of matter, including work on extra dimensions, the Standard Model, supersymmetry, baryogenesis, cosmological inflation, and dark matter. She has also contributed to developing experimental tests for theoretical models, focusing particularly on the Large Hadron Collider and dark matter searches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Randall is among the most cited and influential theoretical physicists and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She has received numerous honors, including the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellowship, the DOE Outstanding Junior Investigator Award, and the Julius Lilienfeld Prize for both her scientific contributions and science communication efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond academia, she has reached broad audiences through her books&nbsp;<em>Warped Passages<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Knocking on Heaven\u2019s Door<\/em>, both named among The New York Times&#8217; 100 Notable Books of the Year.
