November 18 is the International day of LGTBIQA+ people in STEM. The date is symbolic of the anniversary of American Astronomer and gay activist Frank Kameny<\/a>\u2019s US Supreme Court fight against workplace discrimination, a fight that continues today worldwide.  This day has been selected to highlight the work and barriers of LGBTIQA+ people in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we subscribe all that this day represents: to make visible the affective-sexual and gender diversity in these fields and to manifest our categorical rejection to the discrimination suffered by people from this group in general and in particular in STEM areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here<\/a> you can find 10 PRISMA measures for the equality of LGTBIQA+ people in Research Centers, of the PRISMA<\/a> association for affective-sexual and gender diversity in Science, Technology and Innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
