My photo

Currently I am an Atracción de Talento postdoc at the Instituto de Fisica Teorica (IFT) in Madrid, Spain. Nowadays I am mainly interested in optimizing the Dark Matter searches with Artificial Intelligence, but I also work actively on similar optimization tasks in the context of neutrino physics, and LHC searches for new physics. I am part of the Super-Kamiokande Collaboration as well as the CTA Collaboration . Nonetheless I keep at some extent my traditional line of research on Dark Matter phenomenology in general.

TRAJECTORY

I did my bachelor studies at InSTEC, in Havana, Cuba. I later on moved to Europe and I did my MSc. and Ph.D at University Autonoma de Madrid (2009-2013), under the supervision of prof. Alberto Casas. Afterwards, I did a postdoc at Université Libre de Bruxelles (2013-2015), in Brussels, Belgium, and a second postdoc at the CNRS research laboratory LAPTh, Annecy, France (2015-2018).
